DIY: Neon Earrings

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of moving, so I've been packing, unpacking, cleaning, organizing and donating so many things from my closet. I also had some craft projects planned for this weekend, but only half finished most of them. One is a jewelry frame/holder which involves tools such as a hammer. These types of things I think I can do, but then realize I'm not so good at building things. I should probably stick to jewelry, but more on that later!

Anyway, after I finished my to-do list I worked on this simple DIY which was easy and on trend. Have you been to GAP recently? Everything is either color-block or neon. These trends, especially neon colors, I think are going to be short-lived, so rather than buying, DIY!

As I was unpacking and organizing my jewelry I came across these silver earrings from H&M. Cute, yet boring. They must have been sitting at the bottom of my jewelry box for a couple of years.

Remember the painted chain necklace DIY from last month? Same idea. I found neon orange nail polish in my collection that I've never worn and decided that would be the perfect color. 

Just use painters tape across the middle of each earring and use the nail polish to paint the bottom half.  

Easy, cheap and trendy! Perfect to make any simple outfit a bit edgier.
