DIY: Twig Necklace

I love nature themed jewelry, so I decided to try making a necklace.

You need: Twigs, wire, gold paint (this would be cute in silver, also), chain, jump rings and a paint brush.

First paint the twig with one coat of gold (or silver) then let it dry. I only did one coat because I liked the brown color coming through.

When it's dry, wrap thin wire around each end, securing jump rings to each side.

Once you've finished adding the rings, you've finished your pendant. Add chain and clasps and you're done!

 

This necklace turned out to look much more expensive than just a twig I found in my front yard. Let me know what you think!
