Circa Survive is not my favorite band, but I do really like Anthony Green. Beautiful Things is his second solo release, a follow-up to Avalon. This album is incredibly raw and honest. It's about Anthony's struggles through happiness, pain and growing up. One of my favorite bands, Good Old War is the backing band on this album.
Standout Tracks: If I Don't Sing, Do it Right, Get Yours While You Can and Can't Have It All at Once
I love Bayside. I've also seen Anthony Raneri perform solo several times and he's great. This solo EP, New Cathedrals, is surprising and much different than I expected. It's light, joyful and includes snaps and hand claps. I would describe it melodic, acoustic punk rock. Very fun to listen to and also super raw.

DeleteI can't believe I forgot to pick up Anthony Green's album! I've been excited about it for quite some time. I interviewed him last year? I think when I hardly knew who he was, and he is SO charming in person. He's still one of my all time favorite people I've interviewed, and since then I'm in love with everything he does. Definitely buying his album right now and going to check out Anthony Raneri!
