This week has had ups & downs! While I'm succeeding in my career, everything else seems to be complicated. How does that happen? I had a post written about my relationship turned long-distance relationship, but my thoughts on the subject kept changing, so I didn't post it. But if you have any tips, advice or stories, please share!
How was your week?
Moving on to links. The Internet was great this week.
- I love this embellished t-shirt DIY so much! Will be doing it next week. I also plan to try this sweatshirt DIY!
- An amazing cover of Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Walk the Earth. Five people are playing one guitar!
- Jarrod Gorbel recorded a cover of The Format's 'She Doesn't Get It.' His version is super mellow. I dig it.
- And in more music news, The Shins are finally releasing new songs from their upcoming release. Listen to Simple Song here.
- 6 Ways to Keep Blogging While Working 9-5. This is incredibly relevant to my life.
- I added some new (super cute) earrings to my shop! Think floral, kittens and sailboats. Take a look here.
Did I miss anything good? Let me know! Have a lovely weekend!

Liz - The youtube Gotye cover is from a band from my hometown! It's all over the news here. It's so amazing.
ReplyDeleteP.S. If you ever want to talk about long distance relationships..I'm your gal.
ReplyDeleteHi! I just found your blog via Chestnut Orange. I don't post on random blogs but I know a little something about long distance relationships. My husband and I had one for 6 years before we got married. It was frustrating at times but I knew he was worth the headache so I stuck it out, and spent a ton of money traveling to see him. I don't know what your situation is but hang in there if the relationship is worth it. : )
