Lush Review

Remember when I posted about my new skincare routine from Lush? A few people wanted a review, so here it is! I bought four products that were recommended by the sales girl at the store.

I've been using these products daily for about 3 weeks and overall, I love them. Washing my face used to feel like a chore, but now I look forward to it because these make my skin feel so, so good. I have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what I use - I've tried pretty much every type and brand of cleanser from CVS and those chemical based products just stopped working for me.

Onto the specific products.

In the morning I use these three.

Angels on Bare Skin - Gentle Lavender Scrub, $10.95
Eau Roma Water - Soothing Herbal Toner, $19.95
Celestial - Facial Moisterizer for Sensitive Skin, $23.95

Then at night I use these -

Ultra Bland - Cleanser for Sensitive Skin, $29.95
Eau Roma Water (again) - Soothing Herbal Toner, $19.95

Angels on Bare Skin is a very gentle cleanser that also exfoliates. It's great for all skin types. This evens out my skin and gets rid of dry, dead skin without irritating. I use this first in my morning routine.

Eau Roma Water has only two main ingredients - rose and lavender oil. It's incredibly moisturizing and so great for sensitive skin. Simple and soothing. By far the best toner I have ever used. This is the second step of both my morning and evening routine.

Celestial Facial Moisturizer smells so good and makes my skin feel amazing! It's prefect for sensitive skin - lightweight and soothing. I use this as the last step in my morning routine, but it could also be used as a nighttime moisturizer.

Ultra Bland is a great make-up remover. It really cleans my skin without irritating it.  I use this as a cleanser at night, followed by the Eau Roma Water Toner.

Since starting this routine my skin has become much softer and more balanced. I'm really happy with it and I also think it's a reasonable price compared to other options out there. Other plus sides - most of these are vegan and made with all natural products.

Other Lush products that I have and love:

Mint Julips Lip Scrub - I use this at night and it really helps soften my lips. Fun fact, your lips are the only part of your body that doesn't exfoliate itself - so you have to do it!

A Million Kisses Lip Tint - Not only is this the perfect lip color, but it's also makes my lips soft - something that most lip products I've tried don't do.

What do you think - Have you tried Lush products before?  Would you try them? I promise I have in no way affiliated with the brand! :) I'd also love to hear about your skincare routine!

  2. I have friends who swear by Lush products but I haven't tried them yet, mostly because of the prices. That lip scrub sounds awesome, though... and affordable enough to try it out.
