I've been cleaning and organizing my craft supplies in preparation for my move and came across some mix-matched keys. Inspired by this post on A Girl Name Leney's blog and this necklace, I decided to try using the keys to make a necklace.
I used two different sizes of brass chain, jump rings, and an assortment of small vintage keys. Below is how it turned out!
I love this unique statement necklace. Do you have anything lying around that you aren't sure what to do with?
Very cute! I love old keys, they have such a sense of mystery.

ReplyDeleteI really like this! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDid you spray with a clear lacquer or something similar before putting them on the chain. I'm asking because I was thinking the metal might rub off on the garment.
