- Rain. It rarely rains here and when it does, it's newsworthy. Today is the first rainy day since I've been here and everyone is acting a bit nutty. Ah, how I love waking up to the sound of raindrops on the window.
- Fashion. As much as I love wearing yoga pants out and about, I would never wear them to the office. Here people do. Which is fine, but when they do dress up, their choices confuse me. Short, tight and a bit mismatched. Unplanned almost. I'm certainly not a fashionista, but I definitely stick out in Boulder.
- Pizza. And Doughnuts. There are very few options of places to get these foods here, none of them are very good. If you're in the mood for a soft pretzel, don't even try.
- My girl friends. And my family. This is obvious, but needed to be stated.
- The fast paced lifestyle. I know, I know. Everyone raves about the slower, more chill lifestyle out here, but I definitely function better in one that is faster.
- Concerts. While Denver has a decent music scene, all of my favorite bands play more shows on the East Coast! For example, Vinnie Caruana just played a solo show in Philly that I missed, The Swellers aren't stopping here and I've missed my friends bands - A Great Big Pile of Leaves and The Goodnight Lights.
We miss you too!
