The seasons change & so do I.

This morning the air was crisp and cold, very cold. In October. Earlier this week it was in the 80's. With the cold front came a new perspective for me.

You know the feeling when you wake up and the ground is covered in a fresh layer of snow? Everything feels clean and new, but still comfortable. That's how the I felt when I stepped out of my house this morning.

The cold air hit me in the face and I started to feel like myself again. When you move away from your hometown and everything you were, it's hard to find yourself. At least it has been for me. But things are getting better. I have been trying to keep my attitude positive as I discover who I am and where I fit in out here. Things will get better, I am confident of that.

Overwhelmed by it all, I've felt a bit disconnected from this blog and you, my readers, so please let me know what is new! Or link a blog post, I will stop over and read it.

  1. Hi Liz! Beautiful photo.

I'm glad to hear things are getting better, and a positive attitude is always the best way to go about life. I find that changing your perspective in any situation can help :)

My blog has been a bit quiet lately, all I've been doing is working (I'm just about to finish a uni holiday) so I know how it feels to be a bit disconnected.

I hope you are well! Courtney x
